Mission

The Color of Knowledge

College students across America are working together to see if the value of education is deeper than race. “The Color of Knowledge” is a project that will survey and interview students at historically black colleges/universities that are constantly being compared to other accredited colleges and universities across the states. Throughout this project, students, alumni, faculty, and parents will be asked about their opinions about HBCUs and other universities, and this information will be gathered and placed in a weekly blog and vlog, and ultimately be used in a documentary. “The Color of Knowledge” project hopes to bridge the gap in racial stereotypes and misconceptions about the worth of education in HBCUs.
