Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married Too" hit the box offices this past weekend, with what critics say might be the playwriter and producer's best film to date.
The film stars the same all star cast as the intial movie, "Why Did I Get Married?"

(Director: Tyler Perry - Cast: Michael Jai White, Tyler Perry, Janet Jackson, Tasha Smith, Louis Gossett Jr.)
Janet Jackson's character Patricia "Pat," took the movie to a whole new emotional height with the continued underlined issues of her lost child in the first movie.
Tyler Perry is not only maturing as a screenwriter, but as an actor. When watching his character Terry, there were no lingering characteristics of his critically acclaimed character "Madea."
Jill Scott's character Sheila has blossomed from the films previous storyline in "Why Did I Get Married?" The character did not play as much of a key role as she did in the last film, but nether-the-less, great work by Jill Scott.
Just when the audience thinks they have said good-bye to Mike, Richard T. Jones' character, he pops up with some surprising news.
Angela, Tasha Smith's character, stayed true to her loud and crazy ways. Tyler Perry has done an amazing job throwing in Angela as a comic relief in needed scenes.
The movie as a whole was better than the initial film. Although the movie was entertaining, there was a large portion of the movie dedicated to catching the audience up on what happened in the last movie, so some viewers complained that the movie was too repetitive. The movie left most viewers with the sense of a third "Why Did I Get Married?" in the makings, since the movie ending with a plethora of action packed scenes and an additional character.
This movie was PG-13, the language and scenes are more graphic and instense than Perry's other work, so it's best to leave the kids at home for this movie.
